The Doctors - Christine I. Tumele, DPM

Dr. Christine Tumele graduated from the Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine in May 2002. She then completed two years of residency training in Primary Podiatric Medicine and Podiatric Surgery at the DVAMC - St. Louis MO, and Bethesda Naval Hospital in Bethesda MD. During her training she gained considerable experience in diabetic foot care, wound care, limb salvage, sports injuries, and elective forefoot surgery including bunion and hammertoe correction. Dr. Tumele joined Foot & Ankle Specialists in July, 2004.

Dr. Tumele was born in Farmington Michigan and received her Bachelor’s Degree from Spring Arbor College, Spring Arbor Michigan in 1997. Where she earned majors in both Biochemistry and Psychology. She is a member of the American Board of Podiatric Surgery. Dr. Tumele has hospital privileges at Mercy Memorial Hospital in Monroe as a member of the department of surgery and also has privileges at the Mercy Memorial Outpatient Surgery Center.

Dr. Tumele is married to Dr. Gregory Vogt and they have two children. They reside in Monroe. Dr. Tumele's interest include cooking and movie going.
